About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to lead the hospital's Paediatric Imaging Service. The Hospital currently runs a paediatric emergency and inpatient service and has committed resources to becoming a level 5 clinic services facility.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide specialised paediatric and adult radiology services as required.
- Evaluate and perform procedures for patients referred for imaging services, supervise the performance of clinical diagnostic procedures, and provide diagnostic interpretation, reporting and communicate results of procedures to referring practitioners in a timely and clinically relevant manner.
- Liaise and coordinate with Qld Children's Hospital services
- Participate in the provision of an after‑hours and on‑call service as required.
