Our Purpose:
Queensland's hospital system is facing greater demand and pressure than ever before. To help address this, Health Infrastructure Queensland (HIQ), in partnership with Hospital and Health Services (HHS), is leading the biggest hospital expansion program Queensland has ever seen.
The program includes building three new hospitals, expanding 11, upgrading rural and regional health facilities and delivering thousands of new hospital beds. In addition, the intent is for this to be the first tranche of a 15-year program of infrastructure investments. Working for HIQ, you will forge a new sustainable delivery model and contribute to the delivery of projects that ultimately improve the health and wellbeing of Queenslanders – what could be more rewarding than that?
Benefits for Joining HIQ:
- Attractive and competitive salary with annual incremental increases, generous employer superannuation contributions and leave loading.
- Flexible working arrangements along with a supportive and friendly work environment.
- Corporate discounts and employee wellness programs.
- Countless opportunities to learn and ongoing professional development.
- Committed to providing a diverse and inclusive workplace for all employees.
- You will contribute to making a difference in the lives of Queenslanders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Clinical FF&E related engagement and working groups with end-users, documenting decisions and actions.
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, including specialist consultants, Operational Commissioning Leads, Project Directors, clinical/non-clinical teams, and vendors to ensure FF&E requirements are met effectively.
- Provide expert guidance on clinical FF&E planning and execution across the entire project lifecycle, from specification and procurement, through to commissioning and operational handover, ensuring the output supports best clinical practice, patient safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Identify, review, and collate information including policy, existing fleet, future products and industry best practice.
- Support Hospital and Health Services (HHS) through professional engagement to ensure training, commissioning, and in-service requirements of the purchased equipment are provided to end users.
