Role details
The Theatre Department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Theatre Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
To provide efficient and effective operational support services within the Operating Theatre Unit by following established standards and procedures and supporting a highly compatible and supportive working team environment.
About the Team
The Mackay Base Hospital Perioperative Department is a 7 day a week, 24 hours, on-call unit which specialises in General, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, ENT, Urology, Dental and Trauma surgery. Additionally, the Anaesthetic unit actively works as a main component of the Acute Pain Service and as such, is a national leader in this field.
