About the role

Temporary part time opportunity to support and train outstanding pre-vocational doctors within the Caboolture and Kilcoy Hospitals, Woodford Corrections Health Service and the Caboolture and Bribie Island Satellite Health Centres (CKW) Clinical Directorate, consistent with relevant National and State Standards, Regulations and Guidelines. This includes employees, secondees and honorary pre-vocational doctors. 

About you

This successful applicant will carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: 

 

Leadership of the CKW Medical Education Unit (MEU) including:   

  • Leadership and Management of Pre-vocational Medical Education incorporating: 
  • Clinical Governance, Safety and Quality 
  • Stakeholder engagement 
  • Workforce Management of the Medical Education Unit, as delegated by the DCT 
  • Research and Development  
  • Education and Training  
  • Planning, Resourcing and Reporting  
  • Cost Centre management of the MEU 

 

Pre-Vocational Medical Education Service Delivery including:  

  • Enabling accreditation activities with the Prevocational Medical Accreditation Queensland, AMC or other organisations.  
  • Oversee the pre-vocational medical education program including support to pre-vocational doctors and their supervisors to achieve all requirements of the program 
  • Undertake any other duties as agreed with the CKW DDMS.
