Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Sunshine Coast Health is a values-based organisation. We are committed to the maintenance of a culture in which we treat our colleagues with respect as we do our patients, consumers and the community. We respect, protect and promote human rights in our decision-making and actions.

As a senior member of our dynamic and highly skilled Medical Imaging team, you will lead by example in delivering advanced, high-quality imaging services across key areas, helping drive exceptional diagnostic and treatment outcomes for the Sunshine Coast Health (SCH). In your role as a Senior Radiographer, you will provide clinical expertise, mentorship, and guidance to junior staff, while actively contributing to a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Your leadership will help shape a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and professional growth, ensuring both patients and colleagues benefit from your knowledge and commitment.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver independent high level Radiography clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision.
  • Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
  • Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery. Communicating effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced Radiography practitioners and students as delegated.

Remuneration value up to $157,359 p.a., comprising salary between $128,169- $137,918 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
