Your new role:

In this advanced AHA role, you will support clinicians by delivering delegated psychosocial interventions, assisting with screening, implementing individual and group programs, and providing practical support that helps consumers maintain independence and progress toward recovery. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to safe, effective and culturally sensitive service delivery.

You will:

  • Conduct delegated clinical screening tasks for consumers with complex needs
  • Implement individual and group therapeutic programs under clinician supervision
  • Provide support across transport, advocacy, crisis response, ADLs and community access
  • Deliver education to consumers on defined health and living skills topics
  • Maintain accurate documentation, data entry and Mental Health Act–related records

 

About you:

You are a proactive, recovery-focused allied health assistant with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with consumers, families and multidisciplinary teams.

You will bring:

  • Experience delivering psychosocial or mental health rehabilitation support
  • Strong communication and cultural sensitivity in consumer interactions
  • Ability to implement therapeutic programs and support independent living skills
  • Capability to work autonomously within clear scope and delegation frameworks
  • High-level organisation, problem-solving and adaptability in dynamic settings
