Your new role:
As our Office Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, confidential and proactive administrative support to the Director of Human Resources and the wider HR Unit. You will:
- Provide high-level executive support including diary management, correspondence, document preparation and handling sensitive HR matters.
- Oversee administrative workflows, supervise AO3 officers and ensure timely, accurate delivery of administrative services.
- Coordinate meetings, minute-taking, reporting and information collation for HR forums and organisational processes.
- Build strong working relationships across HR, Payroll, Security, Divisional Executive Support and other teams to support efficient operations and service delivery.
About you:
You are an organised and proactive administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities while providing outstanding support. You are:
- Experienced in high-level administrative coordination, with strong Microsoft Office and record management skills.
- Confident managing sensitive information, exercising sound judgement and supporting senior stakeholders.
- Skilled in supervising admin staff, leading efficient workflows and improving processes.
- A strong communicator who builds positive relationships, resolves issues professionally and contributes to a collaborative, values-driven culture.

The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.
We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a safe clinical environment.
We're expanding our hospital to make sure everyone gets the care they need. We're adding more beds, modernising our buildings, and improving our spaces to treat kidney and cancer patients with all new services and facilities planned to open by 2027.
