Competitive salary and benefits

  • Salary between $3,380.20 – $3,724.00 per fortnight (AO4).
  • 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading.
  • Generous employer contribution to superannuation of 12.75%.

About your opportunity

As Team Leader, you will manage and coordinate the operations of the Switchboard Services Unit, ensuring efficient service delivery and emergency response readiness. You will lead a team of 17 staff, oversee interpreter bookings, maintain business continuity plans, and foster a culture of safety and quality.

Requirements

  • Extensive customer service experience and ability to manage high-tempo environments.
  • Knowledge of switchboard processes and interpreter coordination highly desirable.
  • Working hours are Monday – Friday 0800-1630, however there will be an occasional requirement to backfill Switchboard Administrator shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Ability to supervise and develop staff in line with HR policies and ethical standards.
  • Licence to operate a class C motor vehicle.
  • Evidence of vaccination or immunity for VPDs as per Queensland Health policy.
  • A probationary period may apply.
