About us:
Cancer Care Services provides care for patients with cancer across the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service, and regularly for patients living in Central West Queensland. We provide Day Therapy and Outpatient Ambulatory services during business hours, Monday to Friday (including public holidays).
Systemic anti-cancer treatments and supportive therapies are the core business of the service. Cancer Care Services operate under a hub and spoke model across Central Queensland. The model of care is based on best practice models that closely integrate Cancer Care Services with Specialist Palliative Care Services.
About the role:
Accountable for the coordination of clinical trials in consultation with the Clinical Trials Manager and the Principal Investigator and in accordance with the “Guidelines for Good Clinical Research Practice” (ICH-GCP) and the Australian National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Research Involving Humans and the laws and regulations of the Therapeutic Goods Act as published by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).
About you:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate are mandatory for this position.
- Post Graduate Diploma (or working towards) in Cancer Care.
- Clinical Trials qualifications.
- Cancer Care clinical experience.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $131,900 is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
