An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Health Worker to join the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Directorate. The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Senior Health Worker role functions within the Preventative Health Pathways program, which is a multidisciplinary team that promotes integrated service provision across the continuum of primary health care, consistent with principles of client self-management and Hospital Avoidance.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of relevant and appropriate education resources for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to improve health literacy, access, and equity to available health care services.

Remuneration value up to $128 706 p.a., comprising salary between $98 641- $112 805 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HWF4).
