Your opportunity

Work collaboratively and harmoniously within a multi-disciplinary team. Plan, document, implement and evaluate a recreational therapy programs appropriate to the individual resident needs. Have the ability to provide an innovative flexible person-centred approach when planning activities.

Provide a Healthy Ageing approach for long stay residents of Quilpie MPHS. Incorporating and welcoming the older community residents to be involved in the activities you organise. Adopt a “Young and Old” collaborative approach to Healthy Ageing.

Quilpie Multi-Purpose Health Service is a 14 bed facility located approximately 950kms West of Brisbane servicing a population of 654 people. Breathe in the fresh country air, take in the red outback sunset and enjoy the relaxed but fun lifestyle this friendly town has to offer. From quirky races like camels and yabbies to iconic horse races, the Channel Country doesn't fall short of racing events.
