Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Administration Officer (AO3) to join the Oral Health team based at Dental Clinic - Nambour General Hospital. This role provides high-level, confidential administrative support across Oral Health call centre operations, dental clinics and management services within Community and Preventive Health. Working with a high level of independence, the Administration Officer acts as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, supporting appointment coordination, patient communication and service efficiency. The position contributes to the delivery of accessible public dental services across multiple Sunshine Coast locations and supports a diverse service model focused on community-based and preventative care.

Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide high-quality, confidential administrative support to Oral Health services, including call centre and clinic operations.

  • Act as a primary point of contact for patients, staff and external stakeholders, responding to enquiries and coordinating communication.

  • Manage patient bookings, cancellations and appointment follow-ups in line with Oral Health business rules and systems.

  • Maintain accurate records and data entry across relevant systems, supporting clinic efficiency and service delivery.

Remuneration value up to $58 594 p.a, comprising salary rates $38.81 - $43.16 p.h., (part time, 45.6 hrs p.f.), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO3).
