About the role
As a key member of the Healthcare Standards Unit, you will provide high-level administrative and coordination support to drive accreditation, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives across NWHHS. Working closely with the Director, Nurse Managers and multidisciplinary teams, you will help ensure compliance with the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards while supporting a strong culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.
- Provide high-level administrative and secretariat support for governance committees, including correspondence, meetings and reporting.
- Support accreditation and continuous improvement activities in line with the 2nd Edition NSQHS Standards and local governance requirements.
- Promote quality improvement, patient safety and data integrity through education and effective communication.
- Work independently to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and support managers while maintaining up-to-date knowledge and skills.

Requirements
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
- This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
- A period of probation may apply.
