Nutrition Assistant – Supporting Quality Patient Care Through Nutrition
Join our multidisciplinary healthcare team and play a vital role in optimising patient nutrition and wellbeing. As a Nutrition Assistant, you will work closely with Dietitians, Nursing, Food Services and Allied Health professionals to ensure safe, accurate and patient-centred nutritional care through therapeutic meal provision, mealtime support and effective communication.

Your new Role:
The Nutrition Assistant works as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support the delivery of high-quality nutritional care to patients. The role focuses on therapeutic diets, accurate meal provision and daily management of nutrition care plans using the CBORD electronic menu management system. Key responsibilities include bedside menu ordering, oversight of meal accuracy, selective mid-meal delivery, mealtime monitoring and collaboration with Dietitians and other healthcare professionals. The position requires a strong commitment to patient-centred care, cultural respect, teamwork, safety, quality standards and ongoing professional development.
