We're excited to welcome a Nurse Manager or Program Manager to join our Acute Care Team within Mental Health and Specialised Services. This role provides leadership and operational oversight to support the delivery of high-quality acute mental health care within a multidisciplinary environment. Please see the attached Role Fact Sheet for further information about the Acute Care Team.
NG7 Key Responsibilities include:
- Responsibility for explicit professional portfolio content and context expertise.
- Expertise in the provision of direct care and/or support of systems and/or education and/or research and/or professional leadership.
- Consultation and provision of professional advice.
- Responsibility for a cohort of staff reporting to the position.
HP5 Key Responsibilities include:
- Deliver a specialist level of skill in one or more areas of a complex or critical nature with the ability to independently apply specialist and novel judgement to meet the needs of patients across the continuum of care.
- Provide high-level clinical support and advice to staff within the multidisciplinary team (MDT) with the management and problem solving regarding clinically complex patients.
- Possess advanced clinical leadership abilities and facilitates the integration of services across specialties within a clinical area to coordinate the delivery of effective community / sub-acute team services across Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.
- Provide high-level clinical advice within area of expertise to clinicians, professional and operational teams, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding professional standards, service initiatives, service needs and clinical service development.
Remuneration value up to $164,212 p.a., comprising salary between $132,562 - $143,924 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (NG7) or Remuneration value up to $172,615 p.a., comprising salary between $144,991 - $151,289 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5).
