About us:

The 30-bed interim care unit located at Bolton Clarke Sunset Ridge Residential Aged Care Facility is dedicated to care for suitably admitted maintenance patients, operating 24-hours per day. The unit is split into two wings Seahorse and Starfish. Seahorse is a secure area and Starfish is non secure. Interim Care is for people who no longer require care in an acute hospital setting, are unable to return to their own home and need support to progress to a Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) or transition to the community with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) supports. 

About the role:

The purpose of this role is to provide advanced clinical leadership and clinical expertise relevant to the speciality of Aged Care Nursing. The Nurse Unit Manager for CQ Health works in collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Consultant, Nurse Educator and wider CQ Health program team to support the clinical unit in provision of safe quality healthcare through exemplary clinical nursing standards of practice for the specialty of Aged Care Nursing.

About you:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • While not mandatory, the following would be considered highly desirable:
  • any relevant post graduate qualification/s.
    • experience in a leadership role within an Aged Care or sub-acute setting.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $169,138 is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $68.86 - $74.76 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
