Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers an area of 142,900 square kilometres. We go as far as Tully in the south, Cow Bay in the north and Croydon in the west. The Cath Lab Administration officers report to the Administration Team Leader of Integrated Medicine, Emergency, Child Youth Services.
In this role you will:
- Exercise judgement and discretion in undertaking various tasks whilst being responsible for the quality of work undertaken and ensuring work is completed within designated timeframes.
- Maintain patient administration information to ensure data and related activity is accurate and complete and transfer to information into Hospital Base Corporate Information System (HBCIS including EAM), Radiology Plus, Electronic medical record (ieMR), Enterprise Scheduling Manager (ESM) and Medi records (for checking Qld Providers, Medicare HPOS) and Private health insurance checks.
- Conduct chart audits for RoPP services and daily completion of Medicare reconciliation of all billing with the Medi records billing program.
- Manage workload appropriately, prioritising tasks responsibility in the absence of supervision. Contribute to the development of the Cardiology team through participation in quality activities, service planning, monitoring, review and evaluation.
