The Gladstone Emergency Department is a busy, 24-hour service providing care across the lifespan, supporting more than 35,000 presentations each year. As a Clinical Nurse, you'll practise autonomously in complex clinical situations, provide professional leadership on shift, and support the development of nurses across the team. You'll work closely with Nurse Grade 7 leaders and multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred care - while contributing to education, quality improvement, and future service growth, including a planned dedicated paediatric zone.

About the role:
- Provide advanced, evidence-based nursing care in complex emergency presentations.
- Lead clinical decision-making and coordinate care across shifts.
- Support, mentor, and guide RNs, ENs, and non-registered staff.
- Act as shift coordinator or team leader when required.
- Contribute to education, quality improvement, and clinical governance activities.
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to achieve safe patient outcomes.
About you:
- You are a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
- You bring advanced emergency nursing skills and sound clinical judgement.
- You lead with confidence, integrity, and a calm presence under pressure.
- You enjoy supporting others through education, coaching, and role modelling.
- You value teamwork, communication, and person-centred care.

What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $135,857 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $56.08 - $60.05 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
