The Senior Mental Health Clinical will deliver high level mental health services as a member of the Evolve Therapeutic Services Multi-Disciplinary team to optimise psycho-social outcomes for children and young people with severe and complex mental health problems and disorders, and who are in the care of the Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety, and their families and carers. The Clinical Nurse (CN) role provides advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning and coordination skills in the clinical management of patients with complex care needs.

About the Team

The Evolve Therapeutic Service provides mental health services to children and young people 0-18 years involved with child safety services, on child protection orders and in out-of-home care, who have severe and/or complex mental health needs. The service delivers clinical and coordinated support to children and young people including their stakeholder network to improve their mental health and wellbeing. The Queensland ETS program is an external third party funded program under a Memorandum of Understanding between Queensland Health and the Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety.

About the Role

In this role you will coach and support others to deliver for children, young people and families (Leader of Others) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:

  • Leadership/Work Unit Management
