The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Senior Clinical Applications Specialist to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
What You'll Do
- Lead and inspire a team to deliver on the Clinical Informatics roadmap
- Champion change management and process improvement initiatives
- Build strong relationships with clinicians, stakeholders, and vendors
- Oversee governance for application support, incident/problem management, and release processes
- Drive innovation and ensure best-practice ICT design and delivery
What We're Looking For
- While not mandatory, a relevant Health Information Management or Information Technology qualification would be well regarded
- The ability to participate in on-call arrangements and out of standard working hours is a requirement for this position (appropriate remuneration under the Award will apply)
- A natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills
- Proven experience in change management and process governance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Have the ability to lead, mentor, and develop others
- Experience in ICT service delivery within a healthcare or complex environment
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

- Permanent full time
- Base salary ranging from $121 360 - $ 129 998 per annum
