Your new role:

As a Clinical Nurse within the Adult Community Mental Health Team, you will provide advanced clinical leadership and specialist nursing care to consumers with complex mental health needs in a community setting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering and coordinating high-quality, person-centred mental health nursing care using advanced clinical judgement.
  • Providing clinical leadership, supervision and support to nursing staff and students.
  • Leading and contributing to quality improvement, education, research and portfolio responsibilities.
  • Working autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimise consumer outcomes.

About you:

You are an experienced mental health nurse who demonstrates strong clinical leadership and a commitment to recovery-oriented, evidence-based practice. You will bring:

  • Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in adult mental health nursing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and support staff in complex clinical environments.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Commitment to quality improvement, professional development and person-centred care.
