About your role
As a Clinical Facilitator - Graduate Portfolio, you will provide advanced clinical education, leadership and coordination to support graduates and students delivering safe, contemporary and person-centred care.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide clinical education, supervision and support to graduate nurses and students.
- Deliver expert clinical leadership in assessment, care planning and complex care delivery.
- Facilitate education programs, in-services and learning activities aligned to service priorities.
- Contribute to quality improvement, audits and evidence-based practice initiatives.
About you
You are an experienced clinician and educator who enjoys mentoring others and leading learning in complex clinical environments.
You will bring:
- Advanced clinical knowledge and critical thinking in nursing or midwifery practice.
- Strong teaching, facilitation and communication skills.
- Experience supporting graduates and students through structured education and feedback.
- Ability to lead change, model best practice and work autonomously.
- Commitment to evidence-based care, quality improvement and professional standards.
- Confidence using EMR systems and digital learning tools.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
