An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse to our Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMHS) community team.
To work as a Clinical Nurse (CN) within the CYMHS and form and be part of the multi-disciplinary team that delivers high quality mental health care. CYMHS offers a comprehensive response to the mental health needs of infants, children, and young people, as well as their families and carers.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- The CN will provide mental health assessment and clinical interventions for the target population and support the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to provide contemporary evidence-based care. They will offer case management to young people engaged within CYMHS team.
- The CN will contribute to the CYMHS MDT through their knowledge and skills in working with young people experiencing early psychosis. They will provide support and assistance in the management of complex consumers and workloads.
- The CN will have substantial experience in assessment, treatment and care of young people with a diagnosis of a mental illness.
Remuneration value up to $135,857p.a., comprising salary between $111,198 - $119,072p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (NRG6 (1)).
