Your new role:
As the Administration Team Leader, Allied Health Services, you will be responsible for coordinating, supervising and developing a dedicated outpatient administration team to ensure exceptional service delivery for patients, visitors and clinicians. In this role, you will:
- Lead, mentor and support a cohesive administration team with a strong customer service focus
- Review work practices, develop procedures and resolve day-to-day operational issues
- Monitor and improve data quality, identifying trends and addressing errors proactively
- Manage ESM templates and room scheduling in collaboration with the Administration Manager
- Coordinate training, onboarding and ongoing development of administration staff
- Support rostering, leave management and payroll reporting activities
- Ensure continuity of services during peak activity or staffing shortages
- Build strong relationships across Allied Health and the wider organisation
About you:
You are an experienced administration leader who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and enjoys supporting others to succeed. You will bring:
- Proven experience leading and supervising high-performing administration teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with discretion when handling sensitive information
- High-level clerical and administrative skills with strong attention to detail and data integrity
- Demonstrated ability to analyse reports and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Experience using hospital information systems and Microsoft Office
- A collaborative, adaptable approach aligned with Metro South Health iCARE² values

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
