About the role

HP4 - $64.64 - $69.55 per hour
NG6 - $56.08 - $60.05 per hour
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- High level clinical knowledge, expertise and skill in contemporary mental health. Experience and knowledge of addictions and substance use disorders will be highly regarded.
- High level knowledge of contemporary national and state mental health policies, plans, legislation, guidelines and frameworks, including an understanding of mental health service provision issues.
- Proven high level communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills including the ability to effectively consult and negotiate with senior management, clinicians, consultants and key stakeholders on issues requiring development and/or change.
- Ability to initiate, plan and evaluate clinical initiatives to promote positive consumer outcomes.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra). Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
