About the role
These positions work a variety of rosters and working conditions. This role contributes to the patient flow by performing a support role to nursing and medical staff within the department.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Knowledge of or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge in the use of Hospital Based Computer system to include HBCIS, iEMR, and FirstNet with advance knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including electronic communication.
- Ability to undertake challenging administration projects and experience in performing general administrative functions.
- High level organisational skills and the ability to establish work priorities and meet deadlines in an environment of conflicting priorities. Also has a high level of data accuracy and attention to detail.
- Implements and plans ways to improve their skills across all skill sets, identifying gaps and seeking appropriate interventions and input from others.
- Ability to work autonomously and cohesively in a team environment to achieve common goals of the work unit.
- Ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment whilst maintaining discretions due to a variety of factors and possess a think on your feet approach.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
