The position of Health Practitioner Senior will deliver high level mental health services as a member of the eCYMHS multi-disciplinary team to optimise psycho-social outcomes for children and young people with severe and complex mental health problems and disorders and their families and carers in rural and remote settings.

About the Team

The electronic Child and Youth Mental Health Service (eCYMHS) is a centrally coordinated, telepsychiatry networked shared model of care, which provides specialist child and youth mental health services to rural and remote communities across Queensland. eCYMHS provides access to specialist mental health services for children, adolescents, and their families as close to home as practicable. A key focus of eCYMHS is to build community capacity by providing consultation liaison, targeted, case-based education and other professional development activities to a range of regional stakeholders, such as General Practitioners, schools, Government and other Non-Government Organisations.

About the Role

In this role you will coach and support others to deliver for children, young people and families (Leader of Others) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:

  • Leadership/Work Unit Management
