Your new role:
As a Senior Occupational Therapist (Paediatrics), you will deliver advanced, evidence-based OT services to paediatric inpatients and outpatients while supporting service development, education and quality improvement. Working within a high-performing interprofessional team, you will provide expert clinical input, supervise developing clinicians and contribute to the ongoing growth of paediatric OT services.
In this role, you will:
- For 22.8 hours per fortnight, deliver complex paediatric OT assessment, intervention and evaluation
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision and support to HP3 staff, students and AHAs
- Act as a senior clinical resource within the OT and multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement and research initiatives
About you:
You are an experienced paediatric Occupational Therapist who combines strong clinical capability with leadership, collaboration and a commitment to service excellence.
You will bring:
- High-level paediatric OT clinical expertise across ward and outpatient settings
- Strong clinical judgement and ability to manage complex caseloads independently
- Experience supervising and mentoring clinicians and students
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous service improvement
