Your new role:
As a senior clinical leader, you will provide advanced nursing consultancy and leadership to support patient flow, complex discharge planning and rehabilitation outcomes across QEII Hospital and Canossa services.
- Lead and deliver advanced clinical practice in patient flow, complex discharge planning and GARS rehabilitation
- Provide expert clinical consultancy and collaborate closely with nursing, medical and allied health teams
- Drive safe, high-quality, person-centred care through clinical governance, quality improvement and service redesign
- Support education, research, workforce development and performance outcomes aligned to organisational priorities
About you:
You are an experienced and influential senior nurse who brings expert clinical judgement, strong leadership capability and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.
- Registered Nurse with current NMBA registration and advanced clinical experience in sub-acute care, rehabilitation, patient flow or complex discharge planning
- Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to achieve service and patient flow outcomes
- Strong critical thinking, communication and negotiation skills, with a commitment to evidence-based, person-centred practice
- Passion for quality improvement, education, research and fostering a positive, high-performing clinical culture
