About the Role
In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:
- Provide business partnering support to cost centres and assist in performance reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and other financial issues enhancing financial, operational and clinical outcomes.
- Participate in performance review meetings with cost centre managers to provide insight and analysis of financial and FTE results and identify key opportunities for improvement. Present quality financial, FTE and activity data compared to budgets, targets, benchmarks and key performance indicators.
- Provide support to Finance Managers and Senior Finance Business Partners as required.
- Prepare inter-HHS invoicing, labour costings and variance analysis where required.
- Assist in the processing and completion of divisional and cost centre budget builds and process budget adjustments throughout the year.
- Actively participate in the development, implementation, review and maintenance of internal systems, processes and work practices. Identify areas for improvement and recommend/implement enhancements to existing practices.
- Develop effective working relationships with a range of multi-disciplinary staff to support and enhance the financial responsibilities and resource allocation for Divisional and cost centre managers.
