Expressions of Interest are open for experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologists to join our team.

This is an ongoing talent pipeline to be used to fill upcoming temporary flexible full-time and flexible part-time vacancies at Sunshine Coast Health (SCH).

Key Responsibilities include:

• Demonstrate competent knowledge, expertise and skill in the provision of Nuclear Medicine/PET services commensurate with level of experience in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, existing evidence-based practice and established clinical protocols.
• Apply professional clinical judgement when providing Nuclear Medicine services and seek guidance when principles, procedures, techniques or methods require expansion, adaptation or modification.
• Ensure that all standards of radiation hygiene are adhered to at all times, and that relevant legislation and standards relating to Radiation Health are maintained.  
• Participate in quality and service improvement activities in Nuclear Medicine to continually improve patient/client care, including the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within the work environment.  

Comprising salary rates: $39.86 - $58.59 p.h. (part time) or $3030.00 - $4453.50 p.f (full time), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3).  Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy.  Please note: applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered.
