About you:

In your new role you will…… 

  • The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is a Registered Nurse who is accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination and provision of clinical practice and interventions within the paediatric and adolescent services.
  • The position works closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide clinical expertise, support and assists with education to nursing staff within the unit. This includes but is not limited to comprehensive patient assessment, management of care process, provision of resources and coordination of patient flow within the Paediatric and Adolescent services.
  • Effectively manage self and in collaboration with Clinical Nurse Educators and other Nurse Unit Managers/Clinical Nurse Consultants, develop staff to enable fulfilment of role responsibilities within Paediatric and Adolescent Service.
