Your new role:
As a Registered Midwife within the Nursing and Midwifery Resourcing Unit, you will deliver safe, compassionate, woman-centred care while providing flexible workforce support across Logan and Beaudesert Health Service by:
- Providing high-quality antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal midwifery care across varied clinical environments
- Working collaboratively with midwifery, medical and multidisciplinary teams to achieve best practice outcomes
- Practising to full scope within NMBA standards, policies and clinical governance frameworks
- Supporting continuity, informed choice and advocacy for women, families and cultural kinship structures
- Contributing to a positive practice environment through reflective practice, mentorship and teamwork
About you:
You are a committed and adaptable midwife who thrives in diverse clinical settings and is motivated to deliver excellent woman-centred care with:
- Current registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
- A recognised tertiary qualification in Midwifery (Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent)
- Demonstrated clinical competence and commitment to evidence-based midwifery practice
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams
- A commitment to culturally safe practice, professional development and quality improvement

Logan Hospital:
Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
