Metro South Health is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Endoscopy Data Coordinator to join the Endoscopy Unit at Logan Hospital. This permanent full-time AO5 role is responsible for managing and improving the quality, integrity and reporting of endoscopy and gastroenterology data, supporting clinical operations, service planning, patient safety and performance monitoring within a busy hospital environment.

Your new role:
In this role, you will coordinate end-to-end endoscopy data management processes and provide expert reporting to support clinical governance and service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing daily endoscopy data collection, validation, analysis and reporting to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Preparing and maintaining performance and activity reports to support clinical operations, patient safety and leadership decision-making.
- Implementing data quality improvement activities, including audits, education and corrective actions.
- Working collaboratively with clinicians, nurse unit managers and service leaders to embed data-driven practices.
About you:
You are a proactive data professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to work confidently in a clinical environment.
We are looking for someone who:
- Demonstrates strong capability in data collection, validation, analysis and reporting, ideally within a healthcare setting.
- Has advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience working with clinical information systems.
- Communicates effectively and builds productive working relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
- Shows a commitment to data quality, confidentiality, continuous improvement and service excellence.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
