Your new role:

As Nurse Manager – Multi-disciplinary Team Leader, you will provide operational management and strategic leadership for community-based Child & Youth Mental Health Services, ensuring high-quality, safe and effective care.

  • Lead and manage the Browns Plains CYMHS and Assertive Mobile Youth Outreach Service (AMYOS), delivering complex community mental health services for children and young people
  • Provide advanced clinical, professional and operational leadership within an interprofessional team, promoting strong clinical governance and best practice care
  • Oversee workforce, financial and resource management, including cost centre accountability, performance development and service benchmarking
  • Drive service improvement, quality, safety and innovation aligned with Metro South Health's strategic and operational prioritie

About you:

You are an experienced and values-driven mental health nurse leader who thrives in complex environments and is committed to improving outcomes for children, young people and their families.

  • Registered Nurse with NMBA registration, bringing advanced clinical expertise in child and youth mental health practice
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams, with strong capabilities in operational management, decision-making and change leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to manage people, budgets, quality systems and performance within a community or mental health service setting
  • Highly effective communicator who builds collaborative relationships and models integrity, compassion and accountability in line with Metro South Health values
