Your new Role:
The role works collaboratively with Clinical Governance, Risk and Legal teams, CAMMS.Risk Super Users, compliance Custodians, Responsible Officers and state-wide stakeholders to ensure risk and compliance information is accurately maintained within corporate systems and supports timely, high-quality reporting to Executive and Board Committees.
This position delivers hands-on expertise in managing a complex risk and compliance portfolio, analysing data to inform practical, evidence-based recommendations, and supporting the development, implementation and continuous improvement of sustainable risk management and compliance frameworks within a large, multidisciplinary health service.

About the Clinical Governance, Risk and Legal Division
The Executive Director Clinical Governance, Risk and Legal (EDCGRL) portfolio of responsibility includes:
- Clinical Governance
- Risk and Compliance and
- Legal Services.
The ED CGRL reports directly to the Chief Executive and is responsible for the performance and outcomes of MSH's governance systems, particularly in the areas of patient safety, quality, compliance and risk. This includes a robust governance framework which underpins an integrated clinical governance system and improves the quality of healthcare and patient safety, along with lifting the interface between the Board and the senior leadership team.
