We're excited to welcome multiple Casual Protective Services Officers to the Protective Services team. As a Protective Services Officer, you will provide quality healthcare protective services ranging in nature from prevention to response and recovery.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Provide comprehensive security services and assistance to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors whilst also protecting the physical assets of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.
• Guard, watch and patrol to ensure that the facility's security integrity is maintained, keeping an accurate record of daily activities/incidents in official notebooks, security logs, etc.
• Actively contribute to the de-escalation of patient responses, behaviour and incidents utilising endorsed evidenced-based contemporary practices.
• Monitor electronic surveillance and security alarm systems and respond to emergency codes and provide support for clinicians in the restraint of aggressive patients, provision of static guards, etc

Salary rates: $42.52 - $44.57 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) (OO3) (casual positions available) Applications will remain current for 12 months.
