About the role
This role will assist with the provision of comprehensive pharmacy services across all Community and Oral Health sites and other facilities throughout Metro North Hospital & Health Service (MNHHS) under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver a wide range of pharmacy services under the direction and supervision of registered Pharmacists including (but not limited to) dispensing prescriptions (including Controlled Drugs), individual patient supply for inpatients, ward imprest supply, clinical information documentation, and repacking of medication.
- Provide Pharmacy support services to multiple clinical Pharmacy teams in the ward area and the dispensary as required by the Assistant Director of Pharmacy or delegate.
- Provide broad general administrative support contributing to the efficient operation of the COH Pharmacy
- Actively participate and work cooperatively and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Assist with stock control including the receipt and storage of pharmaceuticals and stock level maintenance with minimal supervision.
