About the role
Provide high‑level leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for Cardiac Clinical Measurements across MNHHS, leading evidence‑based practice, quality improvement, education, and research to support safe, complex patient care within the Heart Lung Program.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values, as outlined above.
- Under the clinical governance of the Heart Lung Program, direct the implementation of the MNHHS Vision, Strategic Direction and Goals, achievement of objectives and agreed outcomes in relation to Cardiac Clinical Measurements, including responsibility for strategic focus and managerial direction for these services at TPCH, Redcliffe and Caboolture Hospitals, to include:
- Strategic leadership and direction for Cardiac Clinical Measurements.
- Development, implementation and evaluation of a strategic Cardiac Clinical Measurements Workforce Plan to attract and retain a high quality and stable workforce.
- Development, implementation and evaluation of those aspects of the Heart Lung Program Model of Care relevant to Cardiac Clinical Measurements as well as portfolio projects managed on behalf of the Heart Lung Program and the Allied Health District Executive.
- As Director Clinical Measurements Cardiac within the Heart Lung Program, represent Cardiac Clinical Measurements throughout the District and on area, state-wide, national forums, committees or any other relevant groups.
