About your opportunity:

As a member of the Cultural Assessment & Liaison Team (CALT), Adult Program Area you will participate in and contribute to the delivery of a culturally sensitive and appropriate mental health care service to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients who access the Kirwan Community Care Team.

This is an identified position - It is a genuine occupational requirement that this position is filled by an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person as permitted by, and arguable under, Sections 25, 104 and 105 of the QLD Anti-Disc. Act (1991).

Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $72,447 to $76,736 p.a. (HWF2)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Role Requirements:

  • Mandatory qualification (Certificate III in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care) and proof of registration (if applicable).
  • Possession of class C drivers' licence.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted, including criminal history clearance.
