About the opportunity  

To work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team of the relevant Rehabilitation Program team/unit in the delivery and support of specialist rehabilitation and therapeutic programs assisting consumers with enduring mental illness. This position is based at the Secure Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit at the Townsville University Hospital.

PLEASE NOTE - This is a permanent full-time role.

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $2624.50 - $2759.10  p.f. (CA3)
  • 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
  • Locality allowance
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:

  • Completion of or willingness to complete a recognised training program at least equivalent to Certificate IV in Mental Health Work (non-clinical) recognised by Queensland Health (eg relevant TAFE Certificates or Diplomas).
  • Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class “C” motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided before commencement of duty. 
  • All employees of Mental Health Service Group may be required to work in other areas of the service.
