The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Client Services Librarian to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies and policies
- Assist the Manager Library Services to manage the daily operations of the Library Service
- Provide informed and expert advice to clinicians, students, researchers, and academics
- Participate in statewide library networks and committees
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Appointment to this position requires proof of tertiary qualifications in library and information studies and eligibility for Associate Membership of the Australian Library and Information Association.
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

- Base salary ranging from $106 525 - $116 502 per annum

The Digital, Transformation and Research (DT&R) Division has been established to bring together several vital functions that collectively define, design, and enhance the delivery and sustainability of our most significant service improvement and digital transformation opportunities.
The DT&R portfolio consists of a breadth of unique and interconnected functional business units and teams, including the Office of the Executive Director; Digital, Transformation and Research; and Infrastructure Planning, Delivery and Commissioning. These business units are responsible for such functions as strategic planning, service planning, transformation advisory, transformation delivery, health systems research, research governance and development, strategic partnerships, health informatics, digital experience, technology operations, data science and operations, infrastructure planning, infrastructure delivery, and infrastructure commissioning.
The Research team embraces and supports high-quality research to drive the best possible care for the community.
