About the Team
The Queensland Interdisciplinary Paediatric Persistent Pain Service (QIPPPS) provides assessment and management services for young people experiencing persistent pain with a sociopsychobiomedical interdisciplinary approach.
Our interdisciplinary team consists of medical staff, including Pain Specialists, Psychiatry and a Nurse Practitioner, Psychology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Music Therapy.
About the Role
The position of Administrative Support, Queensland Interdisciplinary Paediatric Persistent Pain Service (QIPPPS) will:
- Coordinate, maintain and support a dynamic team of frontline interdisciplinary staff including the disciplines of medical (SMO and Psychiatry), nursing, psychology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and music therapy
- Provide professional, compassionate, and empathetic administration services to QIPPPS patients and families
In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:
- Resolve day-to-day operational issues to maintain high professional work standards
- Demonstrate initiative in pursuit of ongoing improvement and when addressing novel problems within the context of a dynamic, evolving, and innovative service
