We welcome you to become a part of Child and Youth Mental Health Services as an Allied Mental Health Clinician – Senior. As the Headspace Senior Mental Health Clinician C&L, you will work in collaboration with Headspace and the Cairns and Hinterland MHAOD staff to develop and implement ways of working together to assist the Consumers engaged with both organisations to achieve improved outcomes.

About your opportunity:
In this position you will…..
- Work collaboratively with headspace services to support a seamless service experience for adolescents and young people (12-25 years) with MHAOD needs referred to headspace services, consistent with a no wrong door policy and providing the right service at the right time.
- Provide an important bridge to the broader state health system to improve access and decrease transitional service gaps.
- Apply independent professional judgement, based on valid and reliable evidence in a consultation-liaison and clinical in-reach model.
