Rockhampton Hospital's Cardiac Services is a premier regional hub. Our multidisciplinary team provides a full continuum of care, from diagnostic investigations to interventional procedures. We pride ourselves on a supportive environment where we work together for our community.

About the role:

  • Lead operational and clinical management of the Cardiac Catheter Laboratory.
  • Manage human and material resources to ensure high-quality service.
  • Monitor performance and outcomes to drive continuous service improvement.
  • Build team engagement through transformational leadership and evidence-informed care.
  • Develop systems for quality assurance and business integrity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to meet emerging service needs.

About you:

  • You hold a Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration.
  • You have advanced knowledge of interventional cardiology and recovery nursing.
  • You possess proven experience in clinical unit operational and HR management.
  • You are a skilled leader who can build capability within a nursing team.
  • You demonstrate expert problem-solving skills and resource management.
  • You are an effective communicator who leads with honesty, integrity, and respect.
  • You have experience in analysing service data to achieve key performance indicators.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $169,138 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $136,538 - $148,242 p.a.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
