We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $73,222 to $90,332 p.a. (Classification)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
As a trade qualified Fitter and Turner you will be required to undertake and wide range of mechanical fitting and turning work as may be required in the construction and maintenance of buildings, plant and equipment to support the delivery of effective, timely and cost-effective engineering services to the Townsville Hospital Health Service.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Mechanical Fitting and Turning Trade Certificate is required for this position issued by a registered training organisation in Queensland. (or equivalent)
- License to Operate Vehicle: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
- Aged Care Pre-Employment Screening: Applicants are advised this position works in an identified Aged Care Facility as per the Aged Care Act 1997 and therefore requires employees and volunteers to have a current Certificate.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Tuberculosis risk assessment to be completed.
