About your opportunity:

The Director of Nursing/Facility Manager (DON/FM) is accountable for the leadership and management of the Eventide Residential Aged Care Facility (ERACF) ensuring the provision of quality and contemporary residential aged care.  The role is responsible for decision making, leadership, service development, innovation, and excellence in the provision of care and service delivery for the residents at ERACF.

As DON/FM, the position will have single point accountability for the day-to-day clinical, financial and human resource management and be responsible for the efficient operation for the 110 residential aged care beds at ERACF.  The DON/FM is required to provide effective strategic leadership, operational management and coordination of the ERACF.

The DON/FM is accountable for the implementation of clinical governance and corporate frameworks and strategies that assure all services are culturally competent, safe, accessible, effective and efficient and of high quality.  The DON/FM will demonstrate advanced leadership skills that will guide and foster teamwork in the multidisciplinary setting while enabling compliance with the Aged Care Act 2024 (Cth) and Aged Care Quality Standards.

Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $160,507 to $168,284 p.a. (NG10)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
  • Accommodation: Accommodation will be provided for the successful applicant.

Role Requirements:

  • Mandatory qualification and registration with AHPRA.
  • Travel is a requirement of ths position.
  • Possession of class C drivers' licence.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted, including NDIS Screening check and Legislated Key Personnel Suitability Check.
