We're excited to welcome a Pharmacist Pre-registration (First Nations New Graduate Pathway) to our Pharmacy Team. The Allied Health First Nations Graduate Pathway (“the Pathway”) is designed to provide a culturally safe and supportive entry to practice for allied health graduates of First Nations background. Successful completion of the pre-registration year, employees will transition into the two-year pathway as a Registered Pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities include - Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist:

• Participate in the delivery of clinical pharmacy services, working within a learning environment.
• Dispense patients' prescriptions, ensuring effective and appropriate medications are provided for patients.
• Provide patient counselling on the appropriate use of medications.
• Undertake the required training programmes as agreed for hospital pre-registration (intern) pharmacists.
• Participate in professional projects within the department which may include completing a practice research project e.g. drug use evaluation or performance of safety audits.

Remuneration value up to $132 567p.a., comprising salary between $79 051 - $116 189 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (Fixed Term Temporary position available for 12 months).
