About the Role
In this role you will coach and support others to deliver for children, young people and families (Leader of Others) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:
Clinical Practice
- Coordinate and deliver clinical education programs and resources for pre-entry students and new graduate speech pathology staff to enhance capacity, quality, consistency and minimum standards of education.
- Facilitate and support clinical educators in a range of clinical supervision models, including student led clinics
- Provide high level, independent speech pathology clinical services with infrequent clinical practice supervision, informed by clinical reasoning, best available evidence and prescribed professional and ethical standards.
- Develop knowledge and expertise in clinical education, supervision and clinical practice through active learning and by engaging in professional development programs, performance appraisal and practice supervision.
