About the role
As an Administration Support Officer, you'll work closely with the Nursing Director, Professional Practice Support Unit and wider nursing and midwifery teams to ensure the smooth day to day operation of professional practice support services at Mount Isa Hospital. This role is central to administration, reporting, meeting coordination, credentialing and frontline support contributing directly to patient safety, workforce effectiveness and quality care delivery.
- Professionally and efficiently respond to incoming correspondence and administrative requests.
- Complete general administration duties including typing, creating and maintaining spread sheets, filing documents and photocopying/scanning.
- Collate and coordinate information for requested reports, including performance reporting and asset management/maintenance registers.

Requirements
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
- This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
- A period of probation may apply.
